Husband, Father, Friend, Maker, Runner, Traveler

Beyond our professions, each of us have many facets that shape our identity.
These are some that further define me.

I started getting into design & technology early on. As a child I would find a screwdriver and take whatever I could apart, just to see how it worked. It often made it back together, all be it missing some parts, still in functioning order.

I often spend my time still tinkering and getting my hands dirty. I’ve operated printing presses, edited 16mm films, developed my own photography. Today that’s evolved to 3D printing, drone photography, home improvement projects and more.

I place creating memories above material purchases. I’ve been fortunate to see a lot of the world with my family as well as with work.

Running is a hobby of mine; when it comes together with travel it’s great. What better way to see a new city then an early morning run through its streets.

My wife and I have three human children, and three canine rescue children. They keep me sane on the busiest days and motivate me to leave the world a better place.

To that end, my wife and I are involved in local politics. Environmental causes and social justice are a focus for us and we believe in imparting the importance of service work to our children.
